PagBitcoin Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 26, 2026
1. About this policy
This policy explains how PagBitcoin collects, uses, stores and protects information when you visit the website, use the application, contact us or request a service.
By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read this policy. If you disagree, do not provide personal data or continue the request.
2. Information we collect
We collect only information needed to answer requests, process orders, prevent fraud, provide support and comply with legal obligations.
- Data you provide, such as name, contact email, telephone, country and information required for the selected service.
- Order and payment data, including service, amount, currency, recipient, references and order status. We do not ask for your cryptocurrency private key.
- Technical data, such as IP address, language, browser, operating system, technical identifiers and a device fingerprint used for security and abuse prevention.
- Messages sent through the contact form and captcha responses.
3. How we use information
- Create, validate, perform and track orders.
- Send confirmations, tokens, status notices and receipts to the user.
- Answer requests and improve service stability and usability.
- Detect fraud, improper automation, security incidents and rule violations.
- Comply with legal, regulatory and accounting duties and respond to competent authorities.
4. Cookies and local storage
We may use cookies and local storage to retain language, theme, session, cart and essential preferences. We also use technical identifiers for security. You can restrict these features in your browser, but parts of the service may no longer work correctly.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share it only with providers needed to deliver the service, such as infrastructure, communications, security, processing and operational partners under confidentiality duties, or when required by law and a competent authority.
6. Application and permissions
Application permissions are requested when needed. The camera can read QR Codes and barcodes; files can be opened or saved for receipts; notifications can report order status. Refusing a permission affects only the related feature.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described, legal claims and statutory periods. We apply reasonable technical and administrative controls, but no transmission or storage is completely risk-free.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion, portability, sharing information, objection or withdrawal of consent. Some data may be retained to comply with law or protect legal rights.
9. Protection of children and adolescents
PagBitcoin services are intended exclusively for people with legal capacity to conduct transactions and are not offered to anyone under 18.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that a child’s data was provided, we will stop processing it and take reasonable steps to delete it, unless retention is required by law.
10. International transfers
Data may be processed in other countries by infrastructure providers and partners required to perform the services, under compatible protection and security measures.
11. Do Not Track signals and global privacy preferences
Some browsers offer privacy preference signals such as Do Not Track (DNT). Because there is no uniform technical interpretation for this signal, PagBitcoin does not automatically change all data processing when it is enabled.
Even when DNT is active, we may use cookies, local storage, sessions and technical identifiers strictly required for security, fraud prevention, cart operation, language and theme preferences, and delivery of requested services.
PagBitcoin does not use these technologies for behavioral advertising.
12. Third-party behavioral tracking
PagBitcoin does not allow advertising networks to use the website to track user behavior across different websites or applications.
We do not sell personal data or share information for targeted advertising. Technical providers may process information required for infrastructure, security, communications and service delivery, subject to the purposes described in this policy.
13. Email communications and the CAN-SPAM Act
The CAN-SPAM Act establishes rules for commercial email, including sender identification, transparent subject lines and respect for recipient preferences.
PagBitcoin does not send newsletters, offers or marketing emails. We collect email addresses exclusively to validate requests and orders through security tokens; send confirmations, status updates and receipts; answer contacts, questions and requests initiated by the user; and provide information required to perform or secure the requested service.
Our messages use truthful sender information and subject lines consistent with their content. We do not use false or misleading subjects, email addresses or routing information.
Because these communications are transactional and result from a request initiated by the user, they may be necessary to complete the service or report the order status. For questions about a received message, contact contato@pagbitcoin.com.
14. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The date above identifies the current version.
For privacy questions or requests, write to contato@pagbitcoin.com.
